Welcome to GFWC of Central Oregon
GFWC of Central Oregon Woman’s Club is affiliated with General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC) an international organization founded in 1890 for the betterment of society, through volunteer community service projects.
GFWC of Central Oregon is proud of their volunteer commitments and contributions to our Central Oregon communities, through a variety of projects in the Arts & Culture, Environment, Education & Libraries, Civic Engagement & Outreach, Health & Wellness, and an international signature project of Domestic Violence Awareness and Prevention. Our monthly meetings normally include a speaker and presentation in one of these community service areas.
Formed in 2003, GFWC of Central Oregon joins 10 additional clubs located throughout the state of Oregon. Meetings are monthly (except during the summer) on Wednesday evenings in public meeting spaces or member's homes. Our current membership is diverse in age, occupations and interests, which lends itself to a fun and interesting group of women, enjoying friendships and working together for a common goal: improving our community through volunteer service!
